Ortovox Haute Route 38S is a women's ski mountaineering backpack designed to perform at their best during demanding excursions in the snow and with skis on.
The design and the materials with which it is made allow an incredible fit and distribution of the load, and make it water repellent and extremely resistant to tears and abrasions. This is possible thanks to the use of Cordura polyamide yarn and PFC-free double-layer 420D Oxford polyamide, with PU coating for all fabrics.
The load compression straps and the ergonomic O-FLEX-2 back system ensure an optimal fit, distributing the weight evenly between the hips and shoulders. The side bands connect internally to the dorsal system, wrapping completely in an ergonomic and comfortable way. This is the S variant, with a shorter back system designed for people of short stature.
The 38 liters available allow you to take all the necessary equipment with you. In addition, thanks to the practical front and rear access to the spacious main compartment, the equipment is always at hand. The separate safety compartment also guarantees quick access to emergency equipment. On the outside I brought the ice screws, the ice ax, the poles, the helmet net and the adjustable straps to fix the skis and snowboards in a classic way or diagonally.
