Ortovox Peak Light 38 S is an ideal backpack for your high altitude adventures such as mountaineering and ski touring.
Peak Light 38 S is specially designed for men and women who have a short back, in fact S stands for Short and indicates the length of the back which is particularly short compared to traditional Ortovox backpacks (36 - 44 cm).
Ortovox thinks of an innovative back system that allows you to always have a dry back: the perfect combination between a technical foam back and the use of hot pressed Swiss wool, all covered with a highly technological 3D knitted fabric.
You can reduce the total weight of 1170 grams by another 410 grams by removing the lap belt, the back frame and the hood: the latter can also be stowed in the main compartment while maintaining easy access to its zipper.
A weight reduction that allows you to greatly expand the field of use, from long mountain excursions to high-altitude ropes.
Ortovox makes Peak Light 38 S in Nylon extremely resistant to cuts, abrasions and covers it with a water-repellent material.
Various rings to fix your materials, ice axes, poles, skis and so on, complete the Peak Light 38 S, together with an adjustable webbing to fix a rope and the predisposition to a hydration system and fixing net for the helmet.
Various compression straps allow you to compact the material, controlling its load even in motion.
