Ortovox Shovel Pro Alu III avalanche shovel is designed for rescue and research in the environment.
Shovel Pro Alu III is made of anodized aluminum and hardened to give you the maximum lightness, with a weight of only 770 grams.
Why is Pro? Shovel Pro Alu III has an anodized aluminum bucket with a capacity of 2.7 liters and a small footprint that allows you to store it in any hiking backpack.
Designed with four holes, the bucket also acts as a sled or emergency stretcher and not just as a shovel, to free people buried.
Shovel Pro Alu III is light, capacious and versatile, compact and ultra-resistant.
The blade is sharp, to better bite the snow, the handle is telescopic, grooved and has a rubber coating on the bottom for maximum ergonomics, while the hybrid handle allows you various gripping modes, both for left and right handed .
The quick-lock system, with quick release, guarantees you an easy and quick assembly of the handle and connecting rod.
