Ortovox Traverse 28 S Dry is designed for long days in the mountains or for multi-day climbing trips, even in uncertain weather. The large main compartment offers enough space for all the gear, while smaller items can be stored in the front compartment. The backpack is completely high-frequency welded, making the seams waterproof and keeping the contents dry even in the rain. All external attachments, not covered by a rain cover, remain usable even in bad weather.

The lightweight back system features pads that ensure good ventilation and a high adherence to the body, even during the most strenuous hikes. The ergonomic shoulder straps and wide abdominal belt help distribute the weight evenly. Those who wish to lighten the load can also completely remove the backpack's flap.

The Traverse 28 S Dry belongs to Ortovox's "S" line, specifically designed for women and men with shorter backs. The shorter back system fits these proportions better, as do the shoulder straps, which are shorter and thinner with a pronounced S shape. The padding on the hips is also designed to offer better ergonomics: they are shorter and have a tapered shape.
