Description
The Ascensionist Pack 35L by Patagonia is the mountaineering backpack designed to tackle multi-pitch routes on rock, ice, or mixed terrain, ensuring lightweight, durability, and exceptional modularity. Its main feature is the customizable configuration: the internal support frame, the padding of the hip belt, and the belt itself can be completely removed to lighten the backpack for the fastest and most challenging ascents. The top drawstring closure system has been designed to be quick and easy to operate even while wearing gloves, while a top buckle strap allows for load compression or securing a rope. Functionality is maximized by an ice axe carry system with adjustable and removable straps, numerous external attachment points for gear, and a large top pocket for essentials. The backpack is constructed with a robust 100% recycled nylon ripstop body of 210 denier, featuring a recycled TPU backing and a DWR water-repellent treatment, providing reliable protection against abrasions and moisture. Production in a Fair Trade Certified™ facility confirms the brand's commitment to ethical and responsible manufacturing.
