Description
The Isthmus Parka from Patagonia is a vintage-inspired men's insulating outerwear designed to provide superior warmth and protection during the coldest months. Functionality is a strong point of this parka, equipped with numerous pockets to best organize essential items: two reinforced chest pockets with zip closure, two handwarmer pockets with side entry protected by flaps and snaps, and an internal zip pocket on the chest, ideal for keeping valuables safe. The bi-directional front zipper is protected by an external flap with invisible snap closures that seals out the cold and wind. The outer shell is made from NetPlus® 100% post-consumer recycled nylon, sourced from discarded fishing nets to help reduce plastic pollution in the oceans, and features a PFC-free DWR treatment for effective moisture protection. The insulation is differentiated to maximize comfort and mobility: the body and the adjustable three-panel hood are lined with soft and warm 100% recycled polyester fleece. The sleeves, on the other hand, are lined with smooth recycled polyester taffeta and insulated with warm 60 g/m² Thermogreen® padding made from 100% recycled polyester, which retains its thermal power even when wet.
