The Petzl Avao Fast harness is specifically designed for workers at height, with a structure dedicated to positioning and rope descent. The shaped foam padding on the semi-rigid belt and thigh straps ensures comfort during use. The belt includes metal side attachment points, gear loops, and tool holder slots for optimal tool organization. Adjustment is quick, simple, and comfortable thanks to the Doubleback self-locking buckles and Fast quick-opening buckles. The widely spaced shoulder straps reduce neck chafing, while the sliding straps offer greater freedom of movement. All contact areas are padded with shaped foam and covered with breathable material, enhancing comfort on the shoulder straps, belt, and thigh straps. The semi-rigid design of the belt and thigh straps ensures a secure and supportive fit, and the metal side attachment points can be folded away to prevent snagging. The replaceable elastic straps on the thigh straps maintain constant adjustment whether walking or suspended. The Doubleback self-locking buckles on the shoulder straps and belt, along with the Fast quick-opening buckles on the thigh straps, allow for quick and precise adjustment. The anti-slip devices on the Doubleback buckles help maintain a stable fit throughout the day. For equipment management, the shoulder straps include a parking system for the connectors of the fall arrest lanyard, keeping them accessible and out of the way. The metal ventral ring offers connection points for the installation of a Podium or Litepod work seat, while the fabric loop allows for the attachment of a lanyard with a Ring Open connector. Two metal side attachment points accommodate a positioning lanyard in double mode, and five pre-formed gear loops with protective sleeves, plus two slots for Caritool tool holders or Interfast connection system, help keep tools organized. In the event of a fall on the dorsal attachment point, a red indicator signals that the harness must be withdrawn.
