Petzl Freino Z caving carabiner is designed as a carabiner with a friction spur to be combined with the Simple descender (click here to view the product) or Stop descender (click here to view the product).
With Freino Z you have two carabiners in one, a first one to attach to the maillon and a second with a friction spur, to be used as a return, braking reference.
The Freino Z that attaches to the maillon is characterized by a twist-lock closure while the rear with a wire lever will be your reference. Inside this "second" carabiner you will make the rope enter or exit with one hand.
