The Vertigo Wire-Lock by Petzl is an ergonomic carabiner designed for installation on the ends of Scorpio Vertigo and Scorpio Vertigo SW via ferrata lanyards. Thanks to its shape designed for excellent grip, this connector greatly facilitates maneuvers during the overcoming of fractions. The Wire-Lock automatic locking system is easy to use and is particularly suitable for intensive use, as it optimizes the number of opening cycles and increases the lifespan of the component compared to traditional systems. The connection on the cable is made immediate by the large opening of 24 mm, while the integrated Keylock system prevents accidental snagging of the carabiner during technical maneuvers. In addition to use in via ferrata, its versatility makes it suitable for canyoneering in combination with the Pirana Club and Pirana Guide descenders. Made of aluminum with stainless steel and polyamide components, the Vertigo Wire-Lock weighs only 95 g and boasts a strength of 25 kN on the major axis, 10 kN on the minor axis, and 8 kN with the lever open. Certified according to CE EN 12275 types K/B and UIAA standards, the product is guaranteed for 3 years.
