Description
The Rab Ascendor AS Regular is a men's softshell pant designed to provide maximum freedom of movement and protection during mountaineering and climbing on technical terrain in any season. This extremely versatile piece is made from Matrix™ double weave fabric, a midweight stretchy and highly durable material that ensures excellent breathability while protecting against the elements. The slim and tapered fit, combined with articulated knees and a long gusset in the crotch, allows for fluid and natural movements even on the most vertical passages. Comfort against the skin is ensured by a brushed internal lining, while the low-profile elastic waistband is specifically designed to sit comfortably under the harness without creating bulk. To tackle the challenges of high altitude, the pant features internal reinforcements resistant to crampons, a zippered ankle gusset to accommodate different mountaineering boots, and a practical loop to securely attach them to footwear. The technical features are completed by two YKK zippered hand pockets with mesh lining, a thigh pocket, and the option for suspender attachment, making it an essential item for those seeking performance and reliability in a lightweight package of only 449 grams.
