The Storm Bivi by Rab is a robust and breathable bivy bag designed to provide a minimalist yet extremely protective shelter during storms and adverse weather conditions. Ideal for mountaineering, bikepacking, and multi-day trekking, this bivi bag is constructed with two different weights of durable nylon: the top is made of 40D ripstop nylon (108g/m²) and an ultra-durable 70D nylon base (160g/m²), both with a PU coating and a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. With a water column of 10,000 mm and a breathability of 10,000 g/m²/24h, it ensures total waterproofing while reducing internal condensation. The spacious design with a three-dimensional construction (length 230 cm and shoulder width 80 cm) allows for comfortably accommodating bulky sleeping bags or wearing heavy clothing inside the shelter. The main access is facilitated by a zipper equipped with a breathable mesh panel for additional ventilation, essential for maintaining comfort during the night. Despite its incredible durability, the Storm Bivi weighs only 547 grams and compresses into a bag measuring 25 x 12 cm, making it the perfect choice for those traveling light but unwilling to compromise on protection in any weather conditions.
