Raumer's stainless steel anchor consists of a 10 mm Rock plate, a connecting ring, and a Ring Safety carabiner, which, thanks to its screw closure, prevents accidental opening of the gate. Moreover, the fact that the carabiner is of a closed type prevents it from sliding on the plate and dislodging. The carabiner's wire is 12 mm on the surface that comes into contact with the rope, optimizing resistance to wear. The presence of the ring ensures that the carabiner is positioned perpendicular to the rock, making rappelling easy towards both ends of the rope. The one we present to you is a renewed version that replaces AISI 316L stainless steel with the previous AISI 304. This improvement makes the plate and the carabiner much more resistant to marine corrosion.
ATTENTION: The anchor is available in a standard version or in a "marine" version, which is further resistant to saltwater corrosion. Plates and carabiners with this technology feature a fish with the word INOX. Below, you will find information on the technology used for this type of product.
