The Raumer Rock plate 12 is the version with a 12 mm hole of the Rock plate. The main features of this product are its strength and the great adaptability of the hole: its width allows for the simultaneous use of two carabiners! Moreover, their cost remains extremely competitive. Another strong point is the absolute simplicity of the plate, which, with a thickness of 3.5 mm and a matte gray color, becomes practically invisible when placed on the rock, making it very unobtrusive. It has become a classic in the world of mountaineering, climbing, and rescue.
WARNING: This plate is made of AISI 316L stainless steel but is also available in the Marine version, which is further resistant to corrosion due to agents present in marine environments. The Raumer company applies a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside distinguishes the marine line from its standard version. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and speleology. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and speleology with mechanical technology. The strength has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, thanks to ongoing experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel, which is even more resistant to abrasion, is used. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: in fact, all production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
