Item 168M.
The Raumer Stainless Steel Anchoring Group is a system composed of two Rock plates, two chains, and two rings, forming two arms that evenly distribute the applied forces. On certain types of particularly fragile rock, this factor can be crucial in choosing the correct anchoring point. It is important to ensure that the angle between the two chains does not exceed 90° during installation and to install the expansion plugs at the same level relative to the direction of the load that will be applied. Completing the anchoring system are two plates with a hole of 10 mm in diameter and two connecting rings. This anchoring group is appreciated because it can be positioned in any orientation; it does not matter if it is on a flat surface or under a roof.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel - Marina version, which is further resistant to corrosion caused by agents present near marine environments. Raumer implements a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solutionizing - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside distinguishes this anchor from its normal version. Below you will find information about the technology used for this type of product.
WARNING: The use of anchoring groups requires knowledge of anchoring techniques.
Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and caving. Founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, its owner, it has managed to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, thanks to continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Therefore, Raumer is synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: all production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
