Item 148.The Raumer stainless steel anchor consists of a wing plate with a diameter of 10 mm and a connection ring with an internal diameter of 32 mm. It is one of the most competitive pieces from Raumer and is excellent when used in pairs to create belays and for top rope descents.WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel, but is also available in a Marine version, which is even more resistant to corrosion caused by agents present in marine environments. Raumer applies a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside distinguishes the marine line from the standard version. At the bottom, you will find information about the technology used for this type of product.Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, caving. Founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner, the company has successfully combined its deep passion for mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following ongoing experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion.
