SALEWA Puez Mid Ptx is a medium height trekking boot perfect for more demanding excursions but also for simple walks given its extreme comfort.
Looking at it from the outside, you'll find an abrasion-resistant ripstop polyester upper with a waterproof Powertex membrane and rubber lateral and toe reinforcements to protect the foot from impacts against the rock.
The midsole, however, is double EVA and guarantees excellent cushioning on the heel. This, together with the customizable Volume Reducer footbed, allows you to have a long-lasting comfortable fit for the entire duration of your excursion.
The compound, the Pomoca Alpine Trekker, gives grip and traction on technical terrain. But the real gem now comes with the new system incorporated into the insole called Salewa Edging Plate II: a thermoplastic structure that crosses the entire length of the boot and which combines flexibility and cushioning depending on the areas of the foot with rigidity and flexion in the forefoot and in the heel, thus giving greater stability.
As for the lacing, however, in addition to being derived from climbing and therefore up to the toe to be able to perfectly customize the internal volumes, it is equipped with the Salewa 3F system with Kevlar cables to better support the ankle.
