SALEWA W's Alp Mate Winter Mid women's trekking boots
Salewa W's Alp Mate Winter Mid are women's boots designed for trekking and winter snowshoeing.
They feature a robust suede upper with an elastic fabric insert and a protective rubber edge around the collar at the ankle to prevent discomfort during walking. Internally, there is a waterproof and breathable membrane that protects the foot from rain and snow.
To ensure good stability and prevent foot twisting, Salewa has developed the 3F System technology, which uses Kevlar laces.
What’s interesting is the internal lining: if you are looking for a warm shoe, this is the one for you thanks to the presence of alpine wool that offers good thermal insulation.
Also excellent is the cushioning during the step with the EVA midsole. The outsole, on the other hand, the Pomoca Winter Hike has a studded design aimed at providing stability, grip, and traction on rock, mud, and particularly on snow and ice.
