The Salomon MTN 86 Carbon is a ski mountaineering ski which, with its 86 mm width in the middle, finds its place in the Light category. It has been designed to offer the perfect balance between the extreme lightness needed for ascending ridges on skins and the infallible stability and grip needed for hurtling down compact snow couloirs. It is partly made of recycled and natural materials!
The skis' medium camber offers good grip on packed snow and icy couloirs, while a rocker in the tip makes it easy to float on powder and manoeuvre in all snow conditions.
For advanced skiers who carve with confidence regardless of slope difficulty, snow conditions or speed.
