SCARPA 4-Quattro SL are top-level ski mountaineering boots, ideal for freeride and tours, which can also be used as a sole on-piste/off-piste boot. 4-Quattro SL is in fact the lightest hybrid ski boot on the market, compatible with all ski mountaineering bindings and GripWalk alpine ski bindings. It is perfectly suited to expert ski mountaineers looking for a high-performance and responsive boot with which to face the day on and off the ski slopes.
The hull with reduced volume, made in Pebax Rnew from renewable sources with Carbon Core technology is very light, resistant and reactive. The over-injected carbon insert in fact allows direct transmission of impulses from the foot to the ski, ensuring greater precision and control even in the most difficult skiing situations.
The Ski/Walk Speed Lock 4 mechanism allows quick switching between walking ski modes thanks to the ergonomic lever and the tie rod that allows use even with gloves. The mechanism is equipped with Friction Free technology which allows maximum agility and freedom of movement when walking. The same goes for the four ergonomic levers with which the closing system is made, which thanks to their design allow perfect adjustment and optimal distribution of the closing pressure. The latter is facilitated by a Velcro closure, which maintains constant direct contact of the tongue on the tibia, even in the fastest changes of direction and integrates RECCO detection technology.
The 4 Pro Flex ST liner guarantees you excellent comfort thanks to its design and construction in fully thermoformable Foam Intuition. The closed cell structure of this foam guarantees high thermal insulation and the reinforcements on the tongue and cuff provide excellent support and precision in the downhill phase.
