SCARPA Booster climbing shoes
SCARPA Booster is a climbing shoe, one of the highly anticipated innovations from SCARPA for the year 2020!
This version is indeed the update of the well-known Booster S: all the strong points have obviously remained, and some details have been revised to make Booster an even more high-performing shoe than its predecessor!
The footbed has been slightly widened while the heel volume has been reduced: this way, the fit will adapt to a broader audience.
The closure remains with double velcro so that you can easily and quickly adjust the internal volumes.
The precision of the shoe has obviously been maintained: excellent support despite its moderately soft sole and a pointed and asymmetrical toe for loading even on smaller footholds.
A significant innovation is in the heel construction, which is more durable and eliminates the risk of rubber peeling off. This results in a performance-oriented heel that works well on both flat holds and sharper edges where you can hook the shoe.
Another innovation is in the upper: made entirely of microfiber, it is also suitable for vegan users. It is sprinkled with small black ceramic dots that protect the upper, making the shoe more durable and resistant over time.
Booster is therefore a climbing shoe perfect for those seeking precision at crags while also being soft enough to allow freedom to smear your foot and have sensitivity on footholds. The shape is very performance-oriented: it is indeed curved and asymmetrical for maximum precision!
