SCARPA Booster climbing shoes
SCARPA Booster is a climbing shoe, one of the highly anticipated new releases from SCARPA for the year 2020!
This version is indeed the update of the already well-known Booster S: all the strong points have obviously remained, and some details have been revised to make Booster an even more high-performing shoe than the previous version!
The footbed has been slightly widened while the heel volume has been reduced: this way, the fit will adapt to a broader audience.
The closure remains with a double velcro, allowing for easy and quick adjustment of the internal volumes.
The precision of the shoe has obviously been maintained: excellent support despite its moderately soft sole and a pointed, asymmetrical toe to load even the smallest footholds.
A significant innovation is the construction of the heel, which is more durable and eliminates the risk of rubber parts detaching. This results in a heel that performs well on both flat holds and sharper edges where you can hook the shoe.
Another innovation is the upper: made entirely of microfiber, making it suitable for a vegan audience. It is sprinkled with small black ceramic dots that protect the upper, making the shoe more durable and resistant over time.
Booster is therefore a climbing shoe perfect for those seeking precision on the rock face while also wanting a soft shoe to allow freedom to spread the foot and have sensitivity on the foothold. The shape is highly performance-oriented: it is indeed curved and asymmetrical for maximum precision!
