SCARPA Crux approach shoes
SCARPA Crux is an approach shoe designed for technical trails and paths that lead you to the base of the cliff for your climbing day. Ideal also for approaching long alpine routes and for via ferrata.
The upper is made of water-repellent suede leather. The use of leather makes the shoe extremely durable and resistant to tears and abrasions. The comfort of fit is further enhanced by the Heel Tension technology that supports the foot laterally during walking. Additionally, the toe cap is covered with rubber to protect the toes from painful impacts against the rock.
The lacing system is derived from climbing shoes, it is very wide and extends almost to the toe: this allows for perfect adjustment of the internal volumes.
The sole, on the other hand, is a Vibram Mega-Grip excellent on all types of terrain. This is combined with ActivImpact Technology that absorbs all negative impacts with the ground, reduces stress on the lower limbs, and maximizes the energy used.
