SCARPA F1 are comfortable lightweight and versatile ski mountaineering boots that allow you to give your best uphill and have fun downhill!
In this model SCARPA has paid attention to every detail. The hull has an over-injected carbon insert that guarantees high torsional and longitudinal rigidity. This technology, called Carbon Core Evo allows you a more direct transmission of impulses to the ski, which translates into great precision in skiing.
The Boa Fit System closure system, on the other hand, is designed to adhere perfectly to your foot, without annoying pressure points. You can effortlessly adjust it with pinpoint precision, even while on the move. Once locked there is no risk that it will move, making the closure really safe and reliable, even for many hours.
In the upper part there is also a lever and a velcro band, which allow you a quick and precise closure. By simply operating the lever and keeping the velcro closure unchanged, you will be able to obtain two types of fit, suitable for ascent and descent. There is also a flap glued to the shell which facilitates the fit and makes the closure of the boot more effective and faster.
One of the strengths of this boot is the new Ski / Walk F1 Lever mechanism, designed to guarantee you the maximum in terms of lightness and performance. Thanks to the automatic return system, the transition from ski to walk is quick and easy. Moreover, thanks to the Friction Free technology there is no connecting rod between the shell and the cuff and this guarantees you a smoother movement in the walking phase.
