SCARPA Generator Mid climbing shoes
SCARPA Generator Mid is a climbing shoe which has been specifically designed for climbing big walls and cracks.
Generator Mid is the result of more than two years of study: every need and requirement has been analysed and satisfied to offer the user an impeccable product.
The shape of the shoe is comfortable so that it can be used for an extended period of time: almost flat and almost extended toe position.
Despite the shape, however, you get an extremely precise product. Its internal construction is very articulated: a 1.4 mm Flexan Dynamic midsole along the entire length to give excellent support, a Tri-Tension tensioning system that allows force to be transferred from the heel to the toe without over-stretching the foot, and a rigid Vibram XS Edge compound that completes the whole to offer excellent precision even on the smallest of supports.
Also designed to protect the foot even when climbing cracks, you will find the upper also covers the ankle with neoprene and microfibre inserts.
The upper, on the other hand, is a perfect mix of microfibre and faux leather that maintain their shape over time and increase the wearing comfort.
