SCARPA Golden Gate ATR GTX Woman are super versatile women's trail running shoes, suitable for daily training over medium and long distances on off-road and mixed terrain, which can also include asphalted sections!
Comfortable, reliable and protective, it adapts well to people of any weight and experience. The fit is very precise and for this reason SCARPA recommends one size up if you want a comfortable fit.
The upper is light, breathable and resistant. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit lining makes it waterproof without compromising fit, flexibility and weight. Welded directly to the upper, it is designed to be practically invisible and give a feeling of maximum comfort. To improve the fit there is a collar integrated into the tongue that simulates a sock, facilitating the entry of the foot and preventing the entry of mud and pebbles. Also in the rest of the foot you will have the sensation of wearing a soft sock, thanks to the Sock-Fit LW construction which makes the fit snug and extremely comfortable.
Another strong point of this model is the sole/midsole combination! The latter is equipped with the "i-Respond" propulsive system which favors the thrust phase and allows you to consume less energy. The sole, on the other hand, is the Presa TRN-02 with 4 mm lugs, made by SCARPA with a high-performance compound that guarantees high grip on both dry and wet surfaces, without sacrificing durability.
