The SCARPA Ribelle HD is the boot that embodies the essence of modern mountaineering according to SCARPA: a technical, lightweight, and fast footwear designed to tackle high mountains, via ferratas, and the most challenging treks even with heavy backpacks. Engineered to ensure maximum efficiency in progression and walking on technical terrains, it is compatible with semi-automatic crampons and offers high performance even in difficult conditions. Proudly made in Asolo, Italy, it combines artisanal tradition and technological innovation.
The upper is constructed from premium Perwanger suede leather 2.5 mm thick, water-repellent, with microfiber inserts and an elastic collar that wraps the foot with precision and comfort. The Sock-Fit XT system further enhances the fit, ensuring a snug and stable fitting. The PU and rubber protections on the toe and sides increase abrasion resistance, while the HDry® lamination guarantees total waterproofing, keeping the foot dry even in the most extreme conditions.
The “Speed Lacing” lacing system offers precise and immediate adjustment, thanks to a combination of lightweight steel and plastic. The structure divided into two sections allows for perfect balance between the forefoot and ankle, ensuring a progressive and constraint-free wrap.
Inside, the 37.5® fabric lining combined with the HDry® membrane works to maintain the ideal microclimate, promoting breathability and quick drying. The Pro Fiber Roll insole, made of polypropylene and fiberglass, is designed with differentiated thicknesses to provide the right balance between lightness, stability, and anti-torsion rigidity.
Completing the structure is the Precision Tech Roll sole, developed by SCARPA, which ensures precise and responsive walking. The contained volumes and ergonomic shape make the boot surprisingly agile for its category, perfect for those seeking high performance without sacrificing comfort.
