Siurana Climbing climbing guide
Siurana Climbing is the ultimate guide to rock climbing and sport climbing in Siurana, in the Sierra de Prades Mountains, south of Barcelona. A total of 75 different rock climbing areas are documented, with details on 2,014 routes across a wide range of grades (from 3 to 9b+), including many unreleased routes.
At the beginning of each sector, there is a brief introduction, a map of the location, and information on how to get there, along with the orientation of the wall and the number of routes for each grade. All routes are illustrated on color topos, using French sport climbing grades. This guide features many breathtaking photographs showcasing the spectacular climbing that can be found in Siurana.
Published in June 2023, this is the fourth edition of this guide, which has been completely revised and now contains an additional 250 routes compared to the third edition written in 2018. The guide is written in Spanish and English.
This guide is written by local climbers, and part of the profit generated from it is reinvested in the Siurana bolting fund. This fund is used for bolting new routes, renovating existing routes, and general maintenance work that makes sport climbing enjoyable.
