Tenaya Iati multi-purpose and high-performance climbing shoe: excellent for hard pitches on crags and bouldering. Alex Megos can't go wrong: for Fight Club, the first 9b he opened, he wore Iati and pushed himself along this slightly overhanging slab which has become a masterpiece.
Tenaya is built with the most advanced technology that can be found in the production of the shoes. The mixed microfiber and leather upper allows a combination of key elements in high level climbing: comfort, responsiveness and performance. At the same time the Iati is a very breathable shoe, with which you can climb even on the hottest days.
The 3.5mm Vibram XS Grip outsole is aggressive enough to give you the boost you need during overhanging passages, but the precise toe also provides plenty of support on smaller notches. This is due both to the medium stiffness of the outsole and the midsole created with Rb Range X technology, which provides responsiveness and power.
The Draxtor closure system is innovative: the tear is in fact adjustable through the laces, which slide inside very thin holes; together with the SXRDynamics system of tightening the sole and the structure of the shoe Iati is also ultra precise in the adjustment. The double laces can also be customized with a single velcro strap or with two smaller, rectangular straps for maximum adjustment.
