La Sportiva Tempesta GTX are fully waterproof trail running shoes. With the Gore-Tex membrane, in addition to protecting your foot from water, the shoes is very breathable and also super flexible!
Excellent for winter training in view of spring sky races, Tempesta has an abrasion resistant breathable mesh upper. The lacing system is integrated into the inner upper and allows the internal volumes to be adjusted very quickly and easily. Furthermore, this innovative system makes the fit super snug without leaving air pockets inside.
The sole is particularly close-fitting and the FriXion Blue compound is suitable for all types of terrain, even the most slippery or loose ones such as ice and mud. Furthermore, this sole can be studded with the removable AT-Grip Spike nails.
The shoe reaches high in the ankle thanks to a collar with a small integrated internal gaiter (Sock-Shield technology): this not only improves the fit but also prevents mud, stones and snow from entering inside.
