SCARPA Arpia are multipurpose climbing shoes therefore suitable for both indoor climbing but also for rock climbing and multi-pitch routes.
Arpia was created thinking of those who are looking for a shoe that is halfway between the basic and the high performance ones. It is therefore a fairly high-performance shoe with a slightly asymmetric and arched toe but with a fit that is at the same time comfortable to hold even for several hours.
The upper is made from three pieces of microfiber combined with a suede for the sole of the foot: this increases the comfort of fitting inside, there are no annoying seams and the materials are soft and durable over time.
The midsole we find, on the other hand, gives us excellent support in the small supports. It develops along the entire foot and has a thickness of 1.4 mm. SCARPA has found a thickness that gives support but that does not remove sensitivity to support. Vibram XS Grip 2 compound
Finally, the V-Tension technology perfectly wraps the entire foot, always keeping the fingers in the correct position and thus ensuring good support in the smaller supports and good flexibility for spreading.
