Vertical Life Tarragona Climbs is the new edition of the climbing guide to the Sierra de Prades, which rises steeply behind the coastal city of Tarragona, south of Barcelona in Catalonia. These crags, consisting mainly of limestone and conglomerate, offer some of the best sport climbing in Catalonia.
The climbing guide describes the following 11 climbing areas: Siurana, Margalef, Montsant, La Riba, Els Cogullons, El Penitent, Mont-ral, La Mussara, Vilanova de Prades, Arbolí and Masriudoms. In total, more than 4,800 routes are described across a broad spectrum. All routes are illustrated with high-quality colour photographs, together with the route name, length and level of difficulty.
